On November 17th, 2014 the Flying Fish invited great chefs of the Bahamas to participate in a 13-course tasting menu event.

Abbamonte attended the "Top Chefs of the Bahamas Dinner" hosted and organized by Flying Fish Co-Founder Chef Tim Tibbitts and Co-Founder and Sommelier Rebecca Tibbitts.
